Boteco becomes part of Essentra
We are pleased to announce that Essentra plc, an international leader in the production and distribution of essential components, has successfully completed the acquisition of Boteco Srl, effective 23 June 2026.
This transaction marks an important milestone in Boteco’s growth journey and strengthens our ability to provide customers worldwide with an even broader range of products, expertise, and services.
For over 50 years, Boteco has designed and manufactured high-quality mechanical components for industrial applications, building a strong reputation for its range of handles, knobs, levelling feet, hinges, and other precision-engineered products. Becoming part of Essentra allows us to build on this legacy within a global organisation present in 28 countries, supported by a worldwide network of manufacturing sites, distribution centres, and commercial offices.
The integration further expands the range of solutions available to our customers. Boteco’s established mechanical components portfolio will now sit alongside Essentra’s wider offering of over 60,000 products, including solutions for protection and finishing, cable management, access hardware, and PCB/electronics components.
The combination of Boteco’s engineering expertise and Essentra’s international footprint will further enhance manufacturing capacity, technical and engineering support, and supply chain efficiency, enabling us to better serve evolving customer needs.
This integration represents an important step in accelerating Boteco’s growth journey, strengthening capabilities, resources, and operational capacity. It will allow us to deliver even greater value to our customers, while continuing to focus on quality, innovation, and service — values that have always defined Boteco.
