The solid 6-lobe handwheel with insert with female threaded hole has been designed to replace all older solid bakelite handwheels or knobs. The product is “solid”, meaning that it has no cavities where dirt can build up. There is only a small recess at the top of the rim, but this recess is very wide and shallow, and therefore easy to clean.
